Jack Petchey Award

Jack Petchey Foundation Scheme Synopsis
Middlesex Satellite and County Academies are part of the Jack Petchey Foundation Scheme, which inspires young people to personally develop and achieve their aims and ambitions. Middlesex are Silver scheme members and receive 6 awards per calendar year.

Athletes are nominated by their peer group in the Academy and the winners are selected by a panel, based on the best nominations. Each winner is presented with a certificate, letter, pin badge and a Notes from Jack Petchey booklet; in front of their peers. The winner decides how the award money is spent, which must be something that benefits the whole group, not an individual.
